Essential Qualifications & Experience :(i) Post-Graduation in Horticulture /Agriculture / Forestry. Plus (ii) Five(5) years of post-qualification supervisory experience in gardening / horticulture, raising of nurseries and planting of avenue trees at the level of Assistant Horticulturist or equivalent in Level 6 (Rs. or equivalent in Central / State Government / Autonomous Organizations / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings & Reputed Organizations. (OR) (i) Graduation in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Forestry. Plus (ii) Eight (8) years of post-qualification supervisory experience in gardening/ horticulture, raising of nurseries and planting of avenue trees at the level of Assistant Horticulturist or equivalent in Level 6 (Rs. or equivalent in Central / State Government / Autonomous Organizations / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings & Reputed Organizations.
Job role of the position The Horticulture Dept. is under the direct supervision of Horticulturist and he has to supervise the day-to-day work progress, to plan for smooth running of activities of the department, planning for development, beautification and maintenance of the works to make campus green and suitable for better environment of the campus.
Salary : Rs. 67,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Tenure of the appointment is for one year extendable as per the duty performance and work satisfaction of the candidate.
Age Limit: Age: Not exceeding 65 years.
