Hot Runner Designer Jobs in Chennai - For a client of TeamLease Services Ltd

Engineer an entire hot runner from concept to release for all common molds using CAD and BaaN with a high level of attention to detail.

2. Follow well-established design rules and practices.

3. Work with manufacturing to help resolve production issues.

4. Maintain thorough job file documentation.

5. Check others’ work and make specific recommendations for fixes as well as improvements.

6. Demonstrate and maintain required quality, efficiency and on-time requirements.

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

If appropriate, identify the specific technical/professional skills, knowledge and abilities required or preferred for this job (e.g. strong project management skills; strong interpersonal skills; report writing skills, negotiation skills, etc.)

v  Entry-level 3D solid CAD experience.

v  Ability to organize a sequence of tasks on a project to meet commitment dates.

v  Ability to work a variety of shifts.

v  Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluids and stress analysis (mechanical skills).

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION (Indicate required and/or preferred education for this job.)

v  BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required (or equivalent job-related experience)

v  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Plastic Mold Design must 

RELATED EXPERIENCE: (Indicate required and/or preferred experience for this job.

v  2+ years’ experience in Mechanical design (Mold) preferred

v  Fresher’s with engineering/drawing knowledge and Mechanical software (UG_NX 11) exposure also preferred
