  • Orca Studio is looking for Human Resource Executive to administer human resources policies,
  • procedures, recruiting, benefits, and other programs in the employment lifecycle, and provides outputs in the day-to-day operations.

  • What Will You Be Doing?
  • Delivery of core recruitment practices for specified areas and roles with minimal supervision from generating approval to recruit through to on-boarding of the successful candidate
  • To contribute towards HR projects in a range of areas including talent acquisition, resourcing the business, organisational design, talent development, engagement, reward and benefits, employee relations, workforce planning, and health & wellbeing
  • Conduct full lifecycle HR functions such as recruitment, phone screens, interviews, background checks, employment verifications, reference checks, offer letters, on-boarding, benefits reviews, open enrolment, investigations, discipline, termination, performance appraisals, and exit interviews.
  • Ability to maintain confidential documents such as employee records and data.
  • Document control; maintaining employee files and ensuring confidential information is held
  • in a separate location from basic employee file information.
  • Assists with payroll processing ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Effectively building collaborative partnerships across the organization with people managers
  • and employees to improve working relationships, building morale, and increasing
  • productivity and retention.
  • Partnering with management to resolve employee relation issues; provide coaching and counselling to management and associates; collaborate with legal counsel on issues as
  • appropriate.
  • Supporting training and development requests and helping managers identify suitably
  • development options for their teams.
  • Contributing toward HR policy creation, guidance and interpretation for both established and
  • growing company locations.
  • Preparing contractual letters such as promotions, salary changes and transfers and ensuring
  • all employee data changes are captured in payroll and other HR systems.
  • Providing support in ad-hoc projects and duties.
  • What gives you an edge?
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management.
  • Seeking 0 - 3 years’ experience in a prior HR Generalist role with emphasis on recruiting,
  • employee relations, and benefits.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner.
  • Excellent clerical, data entry, proofreading skills required.
  • Able to work independently as well as support the HR team.

  • Ability to demonstrate good planning and organisational skills, adept at multi-tasking in a rapidly changing environment; demonstrable ability to exercise strong judgment to maintain focus on competing priorities
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to act on their own initiative on a regular basis, determining their own and other’s priorities, and being self-sufficient in generating and delivering work
  • Resilient and robust, able to cope with frequent changes of priority
  • Assertive, able to promote one’s own views in the face of strong resistance
  • Highly analytical approach with keen attention to detail
  • Strong desire to maintain confidentiality at all times.
