About Caterpillar Signs Private Limited
We are signs and display manufacturer and supplier with over 35,000 customers in over 12 countries. Our customers span worldwide to direct customers, corporates, institutes as well as re-sellers through e-commerce and traditional sales channels. Keeping India as our manufacturing base and partnered development in the USA, UK, and Australia with supplier networks worldwide, we offer our customers wholesale prices and fast delivery just like any other local company would. Being already in major markets, we will be the first company expanding to offer signs and displays of international standards within India starting July 2015.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Updating the company database by new employee contact information and
2. employment details
3. Screening potential employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies
4. Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates
5. Assisting in the planning of company events
6. Preparing and sending offer and confirmation letters or emails to candidates
7. Coordinating new hire orientations
8. Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters
9. Maintaining payroll data including leaves, working hours, and bank accounts
10. Proofreading HR documents
11. Pursuing an attitude of learning and development i.e., attending seminars and
12. meetings relative to the HR profession
13. Cultivating interpersonal skills
14. Developing negotiating and public speaking skills and fostering time management skills
15. Working proactively with other team members i.e., prioritizing activities for the
16. the best interest of the team when working on joint projects
17. Handling client requests and delivering quality solutions if able, or escalating the request to a more senior team member
18. Sharing new ideas and information with other team members openly
