Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Involving in designing job requirements, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management
2. Understanding the organization's needs and making sure those needs are met when recruiting for new positions and managing the selection process
3. Taking care of onboarding new employees and also making sure all paperwork involved is taken care of efficiently
4. Maintaining payrolls pay plans, expenses, and benefits programs for the employees
5. Making sure taxes are properly deducted every pay period
6. Conducting disciplinary actions appropriately to maintain the working culture in the workplace
7. Developing a strong enough relationship with managers and employees alike to identify the cohesiveness and health of a team
8. Updating policies regularly as the organization changes
9. Maintaining and managing employee records which help with the hiring process and to analyze demographic data and comply with regulations.
10. Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
11. Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
12. Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs
13. Reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics
