Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers, and managing relocation and intern program
2. Establishing recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs
3. Building applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport
4. Determining applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
5. Attracting applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites
Recruiter qualifications/skills:
1. Recruiting and interviewing skills
2. Phone, Skype, and online meeting platform skills
3. Supports workplace diversity
4. Familiarity with relevant employment law
5. Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
