About part time job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting with and advising management and supervising human resource issues; investigating human-resource-related problems and making recommendations to the organization
2. Ensuring the execution of criminal record checks fully in a timely effective manner
3. Providing HR advice and support to line managers and employees, explaining procedures and policies in a timely effective manner
4. Assisting in the development of human resource procedures and policies
5. Contributing to HR projects like introducing an induction program
6. Administering the performance of the management system
7. Entering data into the database or HR system for maintaining accurate records
8. Providing data for and preparing management information reports and documents
9. Liaising with payroll, absence recording, and holiday recording systems
10. Administering the probationary review time periods
11. Maintaining and developing the filing system of personnel
12. Assisting the human resource officer with the maintenance and development of human resource procedures and policies
13. Advising staff regarding personnel, benefits, and pay issues
14. Administering staff benefits, programs, and events
15. Counseling applicants and employees on rules, policies, benefits, procedures and job opportunities
16. Supporting in completion of job application materials and documents, and preparation of employment interviews and tests
