Job Description
Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) invites applications for the position of Subject Matter Specialist
Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometerology), One Post, IMD funded under Gramin Krishi Mausam Seva (GKMS) Scheme on district Agromet unit (DAMU).
Pay Scale: Rs 56,100/- (consolidated) +HRA as per rule
1. Qualification: Master's degree (M.Sc. Ag) with specialization in Agrometeorology/ Agronomy/Meteorology/Agriculture Physics from a recognized university. 2. Good Academic record with at least 55% or equivalent. Relaxation of 5% at master's degree level for SC and ST categories. Ph.D. or NET qualified candidates if available will be preferred.
Age limit: 21 years to 35 years (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/and women candidates as per govt. guidelines).
