Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) invites application for the position Project Associate I
Project Name: DBT funded project on “Popularization of Bio-fortified Maize Hybrids in Himalayan States and Central India with Special Reference to the North Eastern Region for Sustainable Nutritional Security
Post Name: Project Associate -I
No of Post: 01
Salary: Rs. 31,000 fixed per month + 24% HRA
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses viz. Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Botany/ Life Sciences and allied subjects selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc (as per the DST guidelines vide SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30.01.2019)
Desirable: Experience of working in maize crop and molecular techniques.
Age Limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF/Project Associate-I
