JRF Life sciences/Field Assistant/SRF  recruitment in IARI

Project titled : “India-UK Nitrogen Fixation Center (IUNFC)” and SRF in ICAR funded project “Creating Awareness for Efficient Use of ICT and MOOCs in Agriculture Education ”.

DBT: Junior Research Fellow /02 Posts

Qualification: Master’s degree in Life sciences (preferably Plant Sciences)/Biotechnology/ Microbiology with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR Memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. 2 Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

Desirable qualification:1. Demonstrated experience in basic molecular biological techniques, gene cloning, gene function and characterization. 2. Basic bioinformatics tools of sequence analysis, expression analysis. 3. Writing of manuscripts, and other research works assigned by the PI.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA

Age: 35 years for men & 40 years for women (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules)

DBT: Field Assistant/ 01 Post

Qualification: Minimum 8th class

Desirable qualification:  Minimum 3 year experience in field & lab operations, field survey, sampling of plant and soils for analysis and basic working skills of lab maintenance and glassware cleaning.

Pay Scale :Rs. 10,000

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years on the date of interview.

ICAR Senior Research Fellow /01 Post

Qualification:Master’s degree in Life sciences (preferably Plant Sciences)/Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR Memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. 2 Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015) 1. Able to work on open source learning tools Moodle and course content development 2. Knowledge in computer applications, data processing and ICT tools in eLearning.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA

Age: 35-40 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules)
