Job Description
JRF Biotechnology recruitment in IARI on contractual basis
Project entitled: Production of nematode resistant tuberose (Polianthes tuberose Linn) a commercially important flowering plant through in vitro and RNAi techniques
Qualification : Master's degree in Plant biotechnology/Life Science with 4/5 years bachelor's degree. Candidates with 3 years bachelor's degree should have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR Memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13.7.2015 and F.No. Agri.2Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 9.10.2015 Desirable : Experience of plant tissue culture, genetic transformation and basic molecular biological techniques, gene cloning etc. Duration : One year or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
