Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for a seasoned communications professional for an Internal Communication role. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic communication programs for IBM BUs, creating experiences that engage IBMers in our strategy and how they contribute to our business and our client success. You will partner with business units, functions, Geos and markets to provide IBMers the knowledge, information, and clear calls to action needed to work effectively and deliver business results while also building their belief in and advocacy for the IBM brand.
This role requires very strong writing and storytelling capabilities as well as the ability to analyze audience behaviours, sentiment, and engagement. You should have a sound understanding of social media and engage audiences through an integrated communications approach. Additionally, it will be great to have knowledge about digital media and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive communication strategy for the business unit, in line with IBM’s overall business strategy and direction
- Provide communication advice and support to the business leaders and other key stakeholders in the business
- Collaborate with the larger communication team to drive cross-business campaigns and programs
- Track, report and analyze activity and outcomes to measure the reach and impact of communications
- Strong verbal and writing skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise messages
- Ability to work in a matrix-driven environment, with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of business trends in IT and related sectors
- Ability to think strategically and execute seamlessly
- Strong understanding of social and digital platforms and ability to leverage them for integrated campaigns
- Good understanding of the media landscape
