Project Title : "Orchid bioresources of the North-East India - Conservation, database development and information networking"
Research Associate
Qualification : Ph.D. with good academic record in relevant branch of Life Sciences. Candidates those who have submitted thesis and waiting for the Ph.D. degree are also eligible to apply, however appointment will be made as SRF. Preference will be given to candidates having work experience in Plant Tissue Culture, Ecology & Conservation of biodiversity. Desirable : NET/GATE qualified. Work experience in a scientific lab working on plant tissue culture with management and project monitoring qualities.

JRF
Qualification : M.Sc. in Life Science with good academic record. Working experience on plant tissue culture and conservation of bioresources & its management. Desirable : NET/GATE qualified. Work experience in plant tissue culture, in-situ conservation of plants, Field exploration and taxonomic identification of plants will be preferred.
Emoluments : Rs. 25,000/- + 10% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs.28,000/- + 10% HRA for the 3rd year.
JRF
Qualification : Masters in any branch of Sciences with good academic record and Certificate/Diploma in computer applications. Desirable : NET/GATE qualified. Working experience on development of Database.
