Research Technician - Groundnut and Pigeonpea

Job Responsibilities: Generate crosses involving wild species in grain legumes (Groundnut and Pigeonpea)Attend green house and field activities related to wide hybridization and pre-breeding in grain legumes.Supervise/assist in crop production activities like planting, weeding, harvesting and seed processing activities. Prepare planting materials, field layouts, record field and post-harvest data and Competencies Processing of samples Fluency in English (both written and spoken) Proficiency in Computer skills (MS-Office) Should be a good team player and adaptable to Work in Multicultural team

Requirement: Any Science Graduate with relevant experience of 1-2 years

General: The position is for three years, renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institute’s continuing need for the position. An attractive compensation is offered for the right candidate.
