Job Description
ICRISAT seeks applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Scientific Officer. The position is based at ICRISAT Headquarters, Patancheru, Hyderabad and reports to Principal Scientist & Head, PQU
Responsibilities: Seed health testing for the detection and diagnosis of seed-borne pathogens,Field diagnosis of diseases in the germplasm and breeding material of ICRISAT mandate crops,Data collection and analysis,prepare reports related to seed health tests
Requirements: M. Sc. in Plant Pathology/Mycology with 1-2 years of relevant experience,Experience in seed health testing, pathogen diagnosis and identification is essential.
Candidate should have excellent computer skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team ,Fluency in spoken and written English.
