Project Coordinator (Outreach) recruitment in International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of TIFR
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks and a minimum of three years of relevant experience either in research or conducting scientific events and outreach activities or in science writing.
OR Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks and a minimum of one year of relevant experience either in research or conducting scientific events and outreach activities or in science writing.
Knowledge of use of personal computer and its applications
Desirable: This position requires a person with innovative thinking and a good background in frontiers of knowledge at the level of popular science, and a flair and enthusiasm for designing the contents and conducting the Centre's outreach activities. The person should have a keen eye for detail, good writing skills in english and a good sense of design. Experience with science writing and excellent spoken and written English are highly desirable. A PhD is preferable. Proficiency in setting up science experiments is desirable.
