Responsibilities:
- Empower, accelerate, and partner with all businesses in IDC to create industry-defining outreach programs across the ecosystem- students, faculty, developers, start-ups and others to establish Microsoft India Development Center as a center of innovation.
- Develop and drive new ways of thinking to reach out to multiple players in the ecosystem and creating a strong engagement model with each of them. Develop metrics to demonstrate efficacy of each of these outreach programs
- Establish IDC as the center of innovation and an incubation hub. Partner with teams in IDC to publish papers, speak at key industry events etc.
- Work with business group experts, and leaders to build effective criteria, processes and to define the right business outcomes
- Effectively evangelize amongst all members of the eco-system we want to reach out, our leadership as well work in close coordination with all businesses of Microsoft in India to ensure that we are consistently approaching this as “One Microsoft”.
- Partner with communication team to publish case studies that demonstrate impact in appropriate forum
- Performing regular and ad-hoc analysis on targets and actuals to understand where there are challenges or insights, whether the targets still make sense (i.e. is there unintended upside or downside, are the targets driving the right behavior)
Qualifications:
- Leadership qualities and ability to coordinate physical and virtual resources, verbal, written and presentation skills, good listener, ability to provide direction and clarity
- Strategic marketing communication skills, ability to work across technical and marketing disciplines and data centric mindset.
- Good knowledge about the industry
- Detail oriented, with a drive for results that ensures that projects and escalations are seen through to conclusion.
- Strong knowledge of process management and change management techniques; structured approaches to problem solving, decision making, and business strategy
- Experience with prioritization frameworks, portfolio planning and release processes. Experience with working effectively with business enablement, operations and IT organizations.
- Proven ability to build effective coalitions in a highly matrixed environment
- Superior program management, leadership, and influence skills with the ability to plan, track, and report progress
- Exceptional team player with professional maturity and excellent stakeholder management
