Online applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the following post:
i. IIM Ranchi proposes to engage 01 Medical Officer on regular basis or on contractual basisfor a period of 02 (Two) Years, which may be extended for a period of another one year based on the performance of the candidate.
1. Post Name: Medical Officer - 01 Post (On Regular/Contract basis)
2. Mode of Appointment: Regular or Contract basis
3. Essential: MBBS Degree from Indian Medical Council recognized University and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
4. Desirable: MD in Medicine. Five (05) years’ experience in Hospital/ Clinic. Experience in Educational Institute of National importance, Government Offices, Private Organizations of repute.
5. Job Description: Incumbent is expected to:
a. Provide medical services (examination, consultation, diagnostics, prescription/ treatment) to students, faculty, staff and their dependent family members.
b. Handle medical emergency cases.
c. Provide assistance to beneficiaries in IPD/ OPD treatment as and when required and liaise with hospitals.
d. Dispensing medicines, administering medicines and maintenance of records of the same.
e. Ensuring availability of essential supplies in the respective department.
f. The overall supervision and management of health care delivery system and services.
g. Planning Preventive health measures and execution
h. Awareness campaign among the various stakeholders.
i. Any other medical related administrative work, if assigned by the administration.
6. Salary: Consolidated Salary will be paid commensurate with experience and present salary within the limits Level 10 as per 7th CPC. Income Tax as per prevailing rules will be deducted at source.
Age Limit:
Maximum age limit to apply for the position is 62 years as on the last date of submission of application.
