Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of PROJECT ASSOCIATE - I in the laboratory of Dr. R. MAHALAKSHMI, Professor, Dept. of Biological Sciences, IISER Bhopal. The candidate will work on studying the folding process of mitochondrial outer membrane proteins using molecular spectroscopy.
Name of the post: Project Associate – I (01 No.)
Mandatory Qualifications: 1. Must have had first class M. Sc./ B. Tech./M. Tech degree or equivalent from a recognized national university or institute. 2. Must have had mathematics as a subject in M. Sc./ B. Tech./M. Tech. Enclose mark sheet as proof.
3. Must have a 6-month practical experience in protein biochemical characterization. Provide list of experiments carried out in support of this experience in your CV, along with experience certificate/ project report abstract as proof.
4. Those with experience in Biophysics will be preferred. Only those with an aptitude for science and are serious about committing to research in Biophysics will be considered. Others need not apply.
Age: Applicant should not have completed 25 years of age at the time of joining.

Salary: Rs. 31,000/- (for candidates with National Eligibility Tests CSIR-UGC NET or
GATE) OR Rs. 25,000/- p.m. based on qualifications and prevailing norms. HRA as
applicable.
