1. Name of the Post: Project Associate-I (PA-I)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Name of the Project: “The Physics of Extreme Wet-bulb Temperatures (PEWTER)”
4. Minimum educational Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Tech in Physics / Climate Science or other related disciplines.
5. Preference: Candidates with strong data analysis skills, good knowledge of climate science, familiarity with Python / Jupyter and demonstrated experience of working on extreme heat events (projects or publications).will be preferred.
6. Job Requirements: The incumbent would contribute towards analyzing reanalysis data to identify drivers of extreme heat and impacts on health in South Asia.
7. Tenure of appointment: Initially for a period of six months extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.
8. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- + 24% HRA per month Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA per month based on valid CSIR / UGC-JRF / NET / GATE / Qualified National Level Test conducted by Central Govt. Depts. and their agencies.
