Project Assistant / Fellow recruitment in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati
Name of the Project : Surface acoustic wave microfluidics: micro-particle patterning to biosensors Project Code 30216008.
Minimum qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry (Physical / Bio Chemistry major) or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks or Equivalent grade.
Desirable: Candidates having qualified and having valid CSIR / UGC NETJRF or GATE score card. Candidates having experience in bio-assays.
Fellowship: Candidates who have qualified any of the national level test like CSIR / UGC – NET / GATE etc. with valid score in score card are eligible for remuneration of Rs. 25000/- + 10% HRA per month (Consolidated). Others will be eligible for Rs.16,000/- + 10% HRA per month based on their academic qualification.

IISER Tirupati is the sixth Institute in the chain of IISERs being established by the Govt. of India under the Ministry of HRD for imparting quality education in basic sciences and set up state-of-art research facilities for front line and cutting edge research in science. This is a new institute and is currently being mentored by IISER Pune. The Director and the Board of Governors of IISER Pune will be looking after the IISER Tirupati activities till the Director for IISER Tirupati is appointed.Similarly, a separate Board of Governors and other statutory bodies are will be constituted for the new institute.
