We wish to invite application for the post of Junior Research Fellow which is to be created under the project no. R&D/SERB/Met/19-20/11, entitled “High Performance Rare Earth Free Nanocomposite Permanent Magnets for Advanced Motors and Alternative Energy Applications”. Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow at a Fixed Stipend/Fellowship/Salary amount of Rs.31,000/- p. m. and 16% HRA in a DST-SERB Sponsored Project entitled “High Performance Rare Earth Free Nanocomposite Permanent Magnets for Advanced Motors and Alternative Energy Applications” sanctioned up to March 2023. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
3. Essential qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engg./Ceramic Engg. Master’s degree in Materials Science/Engg./Technology, Master’s degree in Solid State Physics with Mathematics as a subject at Bachelor’s level. The candidate must have qualified GATE score.
Age Limit:
The upper Age Limit is 30 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates); in case of non-research positions, the upper age limit may also be relaxed for the duration of earlier work in a project/scheme subject to the Institute rules prevalent at that time. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
