Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Mechanical Sciences of this Institute.
1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow(JRF) — 1 post
2. Project Name: "Design and Development of a Screw Drive type Wheeled Snake-like Robot to Access the inaccessible Areas inside the Boiler Tubes and other Enclosures".
3. Salary: 31,000 + HRA per month
4. Qualification:
B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering with 65% or 7.00 CGPA with two years of experience (OR) B.E/ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering with 65% or 7.00 CGPA and M. Tech in Mechanical System Design/ Machine Design/ Robotics/ Robotics and Automation with 70% or 7.50 CGPA
5. Job Description:
Capable of working with solid modelling and analysis softwares like Ansys, SolidWorks etc. Ability to work with microcontroller and capable to write programs to control motors. Ability to perform literature review and capable of developing new innovative designs for the pipe crawling robots.
6. Duration of the project: 2 yrs
7. Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance and continued funding availability (Renewal will be done after one year)
Age Limit:
Less than 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation can be considered in case of candidates with exceptional academic record.
