Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts. Applicants are requested to apply through online mode only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
1. Name of the Post: Students Counselor
2. No of Post: 01 post (UR)
3. Pay Level: 10 (as per 7th CPC) (PB3 ₹15600-39100, Grade Pay: ₹5400 as per 6th CPC)
4. Educational & Other Qualification: Post Graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline from accredited and recognized Institutions with specializations in areas of Counselling, Psychotherapy and / or Clinical Psychology.
5. Desirable: At least 3 years experience as practicing professional or as in-house counsellor. Experience of similar work in higher educational institutions will be given weightage.

Below 50 years
Application Fees:
Applicants will have to make payment of a non-refundable application fee through online mode only. Fee payable by the applicant are as follows: ₹500 (for Unreserved and OBC applicants) & ₹250 (for SC/ST/PwD applicants). Women applicants are exempted from payment of application fee.
