Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded research project entitled “Impact of spacer layer in ZnO-based MOSHFET”. Selected JRF will be involved in fabrication and performance evaluation of MOSHFET / MOSHEMT for high-power and high-frequency applications. 1. Post Name : Junior Research Fellow
2. Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable up to 3 years based on performance. Selected candidate may be considered for admission to Ph.D. programme as a regular full-time scholar at IIT Indore.
3. Emolument: (Rs. 31,000 + HRA) per month for 1st and 2nd year and (Rs. 35,000 + HRA) per month for the 3rd year.
4 .Eligibility: Essential Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch of Electronics / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Microelectronics / Optoelectronics / Nanotechnology / VLSI Design / Microwave Engineering with a valid GATE score, OR Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronics / equivalent branches with a valid GATE score or a valid UGC/CSIR-NET qualification, OR Master degree in Physics/ Materials Science with a valid GATE qualification or a valid UGC/CSIR-NET qualification.
5 .Desirable: Prior experience of working in a cleanroom environment, designing of lithography masks will be preferred.
Age Limit:
28 years as on the date of selection, and relaxation as per DST-SERB and Government of India norms.
