Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) invites application for the position Project Executive Officer
Project: "Information & Media Outreach Cell (IMOC)".
Qualifications & Post Qualification Experience Essential: PhD / Masters degree with significant experience and expertise in Social Media Marketing in a highly reputed academic institution and/or a reputed commercial/not for profit entity
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
a. Preferable degree in Communications
b. Min 5 years experience in Social Media handling
c. In depth knowledge of multiple Social Media platforms
d. Digital Marketing expertise
e. SEO and SEM knowledge
f. Experience in website & graphic design
Job Profile: Social Media Manager - HoD
a. Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
b. Leading a team for the same
c. Develop creative and engaging strategies for better reach and following
d. Liasoning between departments, alumni and others for content generation
e. Excellent command over the English & Hindi languages
f. Attention to detail - the very nature of the premier position that IIT commands, attention to detail and being thorough in public communication is of utmost importance
g. Remote working may be considered for highly qualified personnel
Salary Range: 42000-3500-105000
Selected Candidate may be appointed for 1 year(irrespective of the project end date) extendable up to 5 years, with annual review.
