Applications are invited for the post in Computer Centre, IIT Kanpur in the Project titled "Institute Website".
1. About the project: The work is related to development of websites, databases.
2. Designation: Project Manager (01)
3. Salary Range: 24000-2000-60000
4. The appointment is purely temporary and contractual and duration of contract is one year.
5. Qualification:
i. Post Graduate (MBA/MCA/M.com/M.Sc./M.A.) + 08 years relevant experience Or Graduate (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./BBA/BCA) + 15 years relevant experience Or
ii. (CA/ICWA/CS) + 02 years of relevant experience at supervisory level in a Govt. organization or in educational institute or in organization of repute.
6. Desirable:
i. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities; Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills; Aptitude in decision making and problem solving.
ii. To work independently as the part of development of websites using CMS Joomla, Bootstrap, Php, Java, JavaScript, CSS etc. Should also have knowledge of databases (SQL, PL/SQL etc) and Photo editing software's like Photoshop, CorelDraw etc.
iii. Must be Database Certified. Additional Certification regarding Cloud Architecture will be preferred.
iv. Must have experience in handling payment gateway. Experience in managing/dealing with personnel (skilled and unskilled) involved in requirement gathering, development, testing and development.
v. Troubleshooting network issues, LDAP/AD authentication, experience in project management
