Qualifications: The candidate is expected to design and develop a flapping-based aerator. It is a multidisciplinary research-based project where the candidate needs to work in both experiments and numerical simulations of fluid and structural mechanics of a flapping-based aerator.
A significant part of his/her work involves understanding the fluid dynamics and structural mechanics of flapping-based aerators, getting associated with developing the experimental test rig, building the flapping-based aerator, and occasional onsite testing of the flapping-based aerator, write the conference and journal papers.
Bachelors in Technology or Bachelors in Engineering with one of the following specializations : 1. Mechanical Engineering
2. Civil Engineering
3. Naval and Ocean Engineering
2. Civil Engineering
3. Naval and Ocean Engineering
4. Aerospace Engineering with Qualified and Valid GATE and NET Score Additionally, strong knowledge in the area of I. Fluid and Structural Mechanics II. Material Characterisation III. Machine Design
Relevant Experience Software knowledge like Ansys Fluent, Abaqus, Solid Works is preferred. Some previous research experience in this is desirable. Upper age limit is 28 years. Relaxable upto 5 years in the case of SC/ ST/ OBC /Physically Handicapped / Visually Handicapped and Female applicant.
