Job Role: Business Manager - Project Management
Project Title : Establishment of Innovation and Agri-Entrepreneurship Cell under RKVY-RAFTAAR(IRR) Reference No. IIT/SRIC/R/IRR/2021/108

Qualifications: M Tech/ MBA/ PGDM/ Equivalent Master degree in Agri-Business/ Agri Marketing/ Agri-Economics/ Technology Commercialization/Entrepreneurship from UGC recognized institute/ universities having a minimum of 8-10 years’ relevant domain experience in incubation sector/ technology commercialization and startup mentoring/supported incubators or accelerator programs or assessment & evaluation of projects and startups. At least 60% in the qualifying degree.

Relevant Experience: Mentoring business at least 40-50 startup companies; with experience in Agri-startup ecosystem and facilitated funding support to startups angels/VCs.
Preference will be given to candidates with exposure and experience in Agri-Business/ Agri-Marketing/ Agri-Tech Commercialization / Agro-Food Entrepreneurship. The selected candidate is expected (but not limited to): i. To make overall planning and activities such as selection and mentoring entrepreneurs, conducting training classes and webinars, connecting investors, seeking technical expertise, etc. ii. Organizing boot camps, outreach activities, investors meet, exhibitions and hackathons. iii. To take the initiative to incubate and support startup businesses at AFBIC, IIT Kharagpur iv. To manage the operations at AFBIC, IIT Kharagpur Incubator throughout the development process of incubators v. Continuous Assessment and evaluation of start up vi. Stimulate entrepreneurship innovation, and develop a startup ecosystem with required inputs. vii. Provide continued strategic mentoring and guidance to entrepreneurs in business modeling, marketing, sales, financing, IP and legal aspects, etc. viii. Communicate to Knowledge Partner, domain experts, mentors, and other RABIs for proper strategy implementation.
