Notes:  B. E. / AMIE / Other Equivalent exams are considered as B. Tech. B. Sc (Science) includes the graduates with science background.  M. E. / M. S. (by Research) or other equivalent exams are considered as M. Tech. M. Sc (Science) represents two years Masters after B. Sc (Science) The current notification is for regular MS/PhD.  For regular MS, valid GATE score is compulsory.GATE is not compulsory for PhD (applying with M. Tech). Valid GATE / JRF / NET score is compulsory for PhD (applying with M. Sc or with B. Tech).

Important Notice: Candidates without specialization in the M. Tech should mention the subjects taken by them in the additional information column. They should also mention the M.Tech. thesis title. Candidates, who do not mention the subject names, may not be shortlisted for written test / interview even they fulfill the shortlisting criterion. There may not be any communication in this regard.
