Senior Project Scientist (Post-doctoral Fellow) recruitment in IIT Kanpur on contractual basis
DST project entitled "Metamaterials and designer plasmonic structured materials for controlling emission and absorption of light".
Essential qualifications: Ph.D. in experimental physics with a good publication record in professional journals + 2 years of post-doctoral research experience.
Candidates whose Ph.D. work was on nano-optics / near-field microscopy, nanostructure fabrication and lithography will be preferred. Basic computer skills for interfacing and programming are essential. NET /GATE scores are desirable. Candidates with post-doctoral research experience in internationally renowned groups will be preferred.
Salary : Rs. 27000-54000
