Job Description Summary

  • Develop optimal Inventory targets/recommendations for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Packaging Materials & SEMIS (WIP) Leveraging Inventory Optimization tool incorporating supply chain strategies, product characteristics & segmentation, service goals, lead-time and supply chain cost
  • Process ownership & Drive Process Improvement
  • Lead Inventory analysis Projects
  • Identify inventory reduction opportunities

    • Connect Stakeholders
    • Deliver Process Improvement and Sustainability
    • Drive Knowledge management
    • Support Process Standardizations and Governance
    • Lead Input / Output Alignment Meetings for Platforms / Businesses
    • Process documentation
    50% of of Time

    Inventory target setting process execution
    • Lead IA refresh Process
    • Support team members on technical knowledge, process and HCM
    • Develop inventory recommendations using inventory optimization tool
    • Identifying key drivers for recommendations
    • Understand constraints/ assumptions Identify opportunities with inventory
    • Present results of “What if” scenarios
    • Work with stakeholders to get alignment on inventory recommendations from the tool

    Deliver Inventory Analysis Project
    • Connect with Stakeholder to understand business problem
    • Derive/ Develop Analytical solution for problem
    • Deliver Analytical Solution to stakeholder and support implementation
    • Be Inventory technical expertise to support Project
    • Support NAR SC initiative from Inventory side
    • Maintain Project management Documentation

    Specific Job Experience Or Skills Needed
    • Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable information
    • Strong understanding of inventory management concepts and tools, including calculating total landed cost
    • Strong Excel manipulation and analysis skills (i.e., skilled at pivot table, charts and graphs)
    • Experience of working with SAP
    • Knowledge of Inventory Theory/Optimization/ EOQ preferred
