Research Associate /SRF Mathematical Statistics job position in Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI)
Research Associate (R.A.)/ 01 Post
Qualification: Ph.D.in Agricultural Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics/Agricultural Economics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent; or Post-Graduation in Agricultural Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics/ Agricultural Economics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point with average & with at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.; or 3 years Bachelor's degree with 3 years professional Master's degree like M.Sc (Ag.), MCA & or equivalent qualifications & having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average & with at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements; or Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree & having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average & have qualified NET* or equivalent examination &with at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.
Desirable: Experience of working in R/SAS software . Experience of working with NSSO data. Good Communication skills.Published research paper will be desirable.
Senior Research Fellow /01 Post
Qualification Post-Graduation in Agricultural Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics Agricultural Economics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree; or 3 years Bachelor's degree with 3 years professional Master's degree like M.Sc (Ag.), MCA; & equivalent qualifications; or Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree & have qualified NET* or equivalent examination & with at least 02 years research experience.
Desirable: Experience of working in R/SAS software. Experience of working with NSSO data.Good Communication skills .
* NET examination, any national level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Departments/ agencies for admission to Ph.D. programme are considered as NET for the purpose of RA/SRF. The following are some of the NET examinations: CSIR-CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test . MHRD-Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering admission. o DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test & Test conducted in Bioinformatics by Bioinformatics National Consortium. o DAE-JEST & JGEEBILS, NBHM o ICMR-JRF Entrance Examination o lCAR-Test conducted by lCAR for admission to Ph.D. programme.
Pay Scale : for Research Associate: Consolidated Rs. 40000/- per month + 30% HRA for Ph.D holders and consolidated Rs. 38000/- per month + 30% HRA for Master Degree. TDS will be deducted as per norms.
Emoluments for Senior Research Fellow: Consolidated Rs. 25000/- per month + 30% HRA for first and second year and consolidated Rs. 28000/- per month + 30% HRA for third year by following ICAR instructions, if any.
Age Limit : for RA: Age should not be more than 40 years for the post of Research Associate as on date of interview. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/ women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as on date of interview.
Age Limit for SRF: Age should not be more than 35 years for the post of Senior Research Fellow as on date of interview. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/ women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as on date of interview.
