Research Associate/ SRF Statistics job position in Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI)

Project “Robust and Efficient Small Area Estimation Methods for Agricultural and Socio-economic Surveys and Their Application in Indo-Gangetic Plain” on purely contractual temporary basis.

Research Associate/1 Post

Qualification: Ph.D. in Agricultural Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics/ Agricultural Economics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent. Or Post-Graduation in Agricultural Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics/ Agricultural Economics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent subjects with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60 % marks or equivalent grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowhip/Associateship/Training/other engagements. Published Research Papers will be desirable.

Desirable : *Experience of working with NSSO data. *Experience of working in R/SAS software. *Good communication skills.

Senior Research Fellow/ 01 Post

Qualification:  Post Graduate degree in Agricultural Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics/ Agricultural Economics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent subjects, along with 4 years/5years of Bachelor’s Degree. Or Post Graduate degree in Agricultural Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics/ Agricultural Economics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent subjects along with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualification *.

Desirable : *Experience of working with NSSO data. *Experience of working in R/SAS software. *Good communication skills.

Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 40,000/- per month + 30% HRA for Ph.D. degree holders ; and Rs. 38,000/- per month + 30% HRA for master degree holders.

Age Limit : Age should not be more than 40 years for the post of Research associate (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/ women candidates) and 3 years for OBC candidates as on date of interview.
