Recruitment Rally conduct Indian Army From 10 July 2016 To 25 July 2016 At Brahmananda Reddy Stadium, Guntur

Candidates to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from seven districts of Andhra Pradesh viz, Anantapur, Chittoor, Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore & Prakasam in Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesmen & Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical Categories.

(a) Soldier Technical

Qualification : 10+2 simple pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 45% marks in aggregate (or) 10th class pass with min 50% marks in aggregate

if they have 3yrs Diploma in Engg from an AICTE recognized institute

(b) Soldier Technical Aviation

Qualification : 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics,Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. (OR) Three year Diploma in Engg(Mechanical / Electrical/Automobile / Computer Sience and Electronics & Instrumentation Engg) from a recognised polytechnic /Instt (No age relaxation for this cat is existing presently).

(c) Soldier Nursing Assistant

Qualification : 10+2/Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate or B.Sc Degree (Botany/ Zoology/Bio Science) and English (simple pass). Stipulation of marks laid down at 10+2 level will not be applicable for B.Sc degree.

(d) Soldier General Duty

Qualification : 10th pass with min 33% in each subject /C2 Grade or 4.75 Points in Grade System and 45% marks in aggregate except additional subject 10+2 simple pass in all subject. Stipulated marks percentage will be waived off for 10+2 and higher education qualification.

(e) Soldier Tradesman

Qualification : 8th Class Pass. For House Keeper, Mess Keeper and Syce. 10th Class Pass. For Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Woodwork), Artisan (Metallurgy) Suport Staff (ER) Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass / ITI qualification in respective trades. Only candidates who have undertaken Class X Board Exam would be considered.

(f) Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical

Qualification : (a) Should have secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in class XII with English and Maths/Acct/Book Keeping. (b) Should have studied English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in class XII or class X. Should have secured minimum 40% marks in each of these subjects, whether it was studied in class XII or class X. (c) If an individual is a graduate (any field) with Maths / Accountancy/Book Keeping and English (Even elective) as one of the subjects, the stipulation of scoring 40% marks in Maths/ English in class XII or Class X and scoring 50% marks in aggregate in class XII is waived off. (d) If an individual is a graduate but not having English and Maths/ Accountancy/Book Keeping at graduate level, he should have scored minimum 40% marks in English and Maths/Accountancy/Book Keeping at least once in Class XII or Class X.

(g) Havildar Education (Army Education corps)

Qualification : Group X - MA/Msc/MCA or BA/BSc/BCA/BSc(IT) with B.Ed Group Y - BSc/BA/BCA/BSc(IT)/BE without B.Ed

Age Limit : 17 Yrs 6 months to 21 Years for Soldier General Duty, 17 Yrs 6 months to 23 Years for Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant Soldier Tradesman,  Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical

Physical Standards : Height : 165 cms, Weight : 50Kgs, Chest : 77 cms and 5 cms Expansion For Sl. No. (a) to (c). For (d)and (e)- Height : 166 cms, Weight : 48Kgs, Chest : 76 cms and 5 cms Expansion. For (f)and (g) : Height : 162 cms, Weight : 50Kgs, Chest : 77 cms and 5 cms Expansion

Selection Procedure : The undermentioned tests are compulsory for all :- (a) Physical Fitness Test : (i) 1.6 KM Run in minimum 6 min 20 sec for all category except Soldier General Duty, (ii) 1.6 KM Run in minimum 6 min for Soldier General Duty (iii) 9 Feet Ditch Jump, (iv) Pull Ups, minimum six , (v) Balancing Beam

(b) Physical Measurement Test

(c) Medical

Common Entrance Examination : All the candidates except DSC who have been declared fit at rally site in the Medical Examination will undergo a Common Entrance Examination at Army Recruitment Office, Guntur location. Date will be 25 Aug 2016 for direct/review, medical fit candidates

Medical Exam of Candidates : Primary medical examination will be carried out wef 10 July 2016 to 25 July 2016 at Rally site
