Job Description
Online applications are invited from dynamic and highly motivated individuals for the following positions to work at the India TMT Co-Ordination Centre:-
1. Name of the position: Project Trainee (Mechanical)
2. No. of Position: Two
3. Emoluments: Rs. 20000/- per month (Consolidated)
4. Place of posting: Bangalore
5. Essential Qualification : A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering from a University/Institution recognized by the UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
6. Desirable: Basic knowledge and some experience in the following:-
i) Manufacturing processes;
ii) Mechanical drawings;
iii)Measuring tools like Vernier, Caliper, Micrometer, etc;
iv)GD&T;
v) Microsoft Office and CAD tools like Solid works
7. Job description: Selected candidate will be a member of the India TMT team.
8. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
i) Conducting study of production documents like mechanical drawings, process sheets, inspection reports, etc.
ii) Preparation and Review of reports based on the study of the above mentioned documents.
iii) Regular interaction with manufacturing vendors.
iv) Procurement and shipment related activities.
v) Candidate may need to work closely with the ITCC/TMTPO team members and Indian industries involved in the production of hardware systems and their testing. A positive performance in this role will lead to increased responsibilities. Job may require frequent travels within the city and outstation
