Research Officer/Computer/Data Entry recruitment in Indian Institute of Public Administration on Contract basis
Research Officer /02 Posts
Qualifications: Master's Degree from a recognized University in Social Science/Law/management/IT/Social Work with at least good second class (55% & above) Marks.
Experience: 2-3 years experience in the relevant area and Experience of conducting research, data collection, analysis, report writing etc. will be preferred. Preference will be given to those who have proficiency in English with excellent writing skills and knowledge of computers. Preference will be given to M.Phil / Ph.D holders.
Pay Scale: Rs.25,000- 29000
Computer/Data Entry (01 post)
Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline with 1-2 years of relevant experience relating to typing, maintenance of office records/files. Knowledge of computers is essential.
Pay Scale: Rs.11,000

Public Administration has always implied Government when ‘public’ actually means community or people. In the post-colonial, post-independence paradigm of the early 1950s, Public Administration really meant providing service to the people by the State apparatus using the ground rules of justice, ethics and fair-play. This was the intention of the visionary Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru when he established the Indian Institute of Public Administration on March 29, 1954 based on the recommendations of a survey carried out in 1953 by Dean Paul H. Appleby, a Consultant with the Ford Foundation invited to advise on the subject, by the Government of India.
