Indian Institute of Soil Science (IISS) invites application for the position Senior Research Fellow
1. Post: Senior Research Fellow
Name of the project: Development of Nano Sensor and its application through cloud based network for real time irrigation to soil and plant.
Number of Positions: One
Minimum essential qualification:
a. M. Sc. In Soil Science/ Soil Chemistry & Fertility/SoiI Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry/AgriculturaI Microbiology/AgriculturaI Physics/ Agronomy/Chemistry/ Environmental Science with/ years of Bachelor's degree.
b. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master degree must have NET/GATE qualification.
Desirable: Sound knowledge in laboratory analysis and field study ex eriments, use of sensor in field.
Duration: Project duration up to May , 2024.
Emoluments: Rs. 31000/- P.M. + HRA as admissible

Name of the project: Studies on Agrotain incorporated urea produces with N-TEGRATION technology as an enhanced efficiency for use in major cropping systems in India".
Number of Positions: One
Minimum essential qualification: M. Sc. In Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with 4/5 years of Bachelor's Degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master degree must have NET/GATE qualification.
Desirable: Experience in soil and plant analysis, experience of handling and processing of data on computer.
Duration: Project duration up to June, 2023.
Emoluments: Rs. 31000/- P.M. + HRA as admissible.
