(ISL) Teacher/ Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist job vacancies in National Institute of
Speech - Hearing
Indian Sign Language
(ISL) teacher
Qualification : Deaf candidates with Degree in any subject
and ‘C’ level certificate issued by RCI in Indian Sign Language. Those who have
passed the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Sign Language Studies (BAASLS) course
will be given preference. Preference will also be given to those who have
experience in teaching Indian Sign Language.
Early Intervention
Teacher
Qualification : Any degree with Diploma in Early Childhood
Special Education-Hearing Impaired (DECSE-HI) / DTYHI / DTYDHH. Preference will
be given to candidates with an additional qualification of B.Ed (HI).
Audiologist & Speech
Language Pathologist (ASLP)
Qualification : MASLP / MSc. Speech and Hearing / MSc.
Speech Language Pathology. For Neuro Developmental Science department,
candidates with experience in interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
will be preferred. Teaching experience will be an added advantage for
candidates in general. Research experience with published papers in
international peer-reviewed journals will also be given preference
Special
Educator/Intervention Specialist for a project funded by SID.
Qualification : Any degree with B.Ed / D.Ed in Special
Education (ASD). The ideal candidate will be a person who has experience in
working with intervention programs / special schools / inclusive classrooms.
Project Associate for
a project funded by SID
Qualification : Graduates in Computer Science who are deaf
can apply. Knowledge in Indian Sign Language is required.
