Qualification : Minimum qualification and experience required for the above posts are as prescribed by UGC. The prescribed qualifications for teaching positions followed as per “UGC Regulations on minimum qualification for appointment of teaching and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education 2010” and its amendments UGC (2ndamendment) Regulations,2013 and UGC (3rd& 4thamendment) Regulations, 2016. Eligibility shall be considered as per the revised regulations. The applicants may visit the UGC website
Application Fees : (i) Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) through bank challan which is available in the university website. Applicant have to download the challan, fill the same and deposit the fees to any branch of State Bank of India then send the University Copy of the Challan along with the Application Form. (ii) SC/ST and PWD candidates need not pay any fee for application.

It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action with the appointment of Prof. C. D. Singh as its first Vice-Chancellor on July 8th, 2008.
