Individual Consultant - State Livelihood Strategist Job vacancies in United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
Qualification : Masters’ Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Natural Resource Management/Social Sciences/ Skill Development and Marketing Management or related field with excellent academic record is desirable.
At least 15 years’ experience of developing and working on community-based projects with a special focus on sustainable livelihoods and micro-enterprise development. The applicant should have prior experience of working in National/ State Rural Livelihood Mission or any other livelihood programme of central and/ or state government.
Sound knowledge and understanding of public policy, grassroots livelihoods, value chains, marketing and branding specially w.r.t the project landscapes.
Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders including government departments and agencies at central and state level, academic and research institutions, banks, private sector and local communities.
Demonstrates ability to work effectively under close supervision, as well as under minimal supervision, and to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS-Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Advanced knowledge of spread sheet, database management and research skills will be an asset.
Fluency in English.
Excellent drafting and verbal communication skills.
