WHY D4B - INSIDE SALES
- Dunzo D4B is an on-demand logistics service small and medium business. We are a B2B2C platform helping small merchants expand their business by reaching out to their consumers directly. Local businesses which need intra city logistics either to move goods between their shops/ locations, send products/ goods to their clients/ consumers or need to transfer their documents between their stakeholders.
- It is currently being used by 8000 SME's ranging from mini-factories to laundry merchants to insurance companies to retail outlets lawyers and CAs. The use cases are very varied - Raymond shops use it to send their apparels to customers post alteration so that users don't have to come again, factories use it move spare parts between their hubs while lawyers use it to send documents to their clients.
- Inside Sales is our on-call 'Sales' team which closes inbound leads for D4B over call
What you'll do:
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
- Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
- Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
- Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
- Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
- Working with sales team when closing sale
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
- Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales
- Maintaining database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
- Closing sales and working with client through closing process
What you'll need:
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
