Job Description
The Inside Sales –Consultant owns the full lifecycle of a sales process under a certain revenue range. The primary responsibility is to find, nurture, qualify and close opportunities to meet the revenue quota. Opportunities may be self-generated or supplied and qualified by the Sales team. Should an opportunity present that is larger than the assigned account size, the Inside Sales –consultant will hand the opportunity over to an appropriate Sales Executive in direct sales to which he/she is aligned.
Responsibilities:
- Intensive calling into established clientele and new prospects.
- Proven experience in establishing new Inside sales practices
- Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering QUIRZ software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate Quriz and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.
- Reinforce the business value of QUIRZ solutions through creation of compelling presentations, demonstrations and participation in value engineering engagements.
- Closing opportunities delivered by aligned Sales Representatives
- Meticulous sales forecasting.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into closed deals.
- Set up and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales actions remotely.
- Stay up to date with the latest QURIZ solutions as well as industry trends. Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions.
- Join sales teams for initial executive meeting.
- Collaborate with inside / field sales teams to participate in various one-to-many lead generating activities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to plan account strategies through participation in informal and formal account reviews.
- Develop close relationships with sales teams in order to promote effective sales methodologies and the introduction of new products.
- Serve as a champion for assigned industry based product functionality and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues as needed.
- Share in-depth knowledge and experience with direct team to enable decision-making and provide innovative solutions to complex business issues.
Education:
- BA or BS from an accredited university in a business related field, such as marketing and sales.
- 1+ years of inside sales experience. Business development experience is an advantage.
- Confident and polished telephone presence that can transition easily from first contacts to senior level executives.
- Ability to leverage multiple channels of communication to ensure success (email, LinkedIn, phone, twitter, etc.)
- Ability to work in flexible hours.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that are extremely articulate regarding verbal communication as well as advanced in professional writing.
- Actively engaged internally with New Business Generation, Marketing and Account Management.
