Job Description
- Presenting company profile appropriately to customers & listening to customer requirements ; Should possess moderate to sound knowledge on It networking, computers, Servers, storage , back up, Virtualization etc.
- Typical understanding of functions/processes of system integration companies
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
- Maintaining CRM and other database and updation.
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
- Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Gathering market and customer information wherever applicable.
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with vendors and OEMs.
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions if applicable.
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
- Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
- Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements; preparing Bill of material, making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
- Feeding future buying trends back internally & to OEM’S; attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
- Handling the entire sales cycle from calling the lead to qualifying it to opportunity, preparing quotes, getting customer approvals or payments, converting into orders, placing orders with distributors and delivering the product to the customer.
- Preparing weekly reports on Sales Analysis, Sale revenue, targets achieved etc. and submitting it to management.
- Positive attitude to peruse on sales target and making extra efforts to achieve the same.
- Ability and interest to learn the new technology and solutions which will help in BOM building.
- Excellent proven track record of working with stretched targets
- Very good at written and verbal communication, Pleasing personality with positive attitude
- In-depth knowledge of Sales Process and strategy
- Quick learner, Self-motivated and keen to learn new technologies, trends and methods necessary for the function
- Having good skills on MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
- Good orator with rich vocabulary and confident public speaker
- Effective tele-calling skills
- Review and provide analysis of strategy, offerings, pricings on an on-going basis
- Identify strategic partnerships, new target markets and avenues, additions/modification in offerings
- Ability to Multi-task and Prioritize.
