Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Scientist / Senior Research Scientist – Cell Molecular Biologist
Knowledge, Experience And Skills
Fresh PhDs from reputed institutes in the area of Molecular Biology/Cell Biology/Biochemistry or other relevant fields. PhDs with 2-5 yrs of postdoctoral experience or industrial experience in the area of translational research or other relevant fields. Candidates are expected to be conceptually strong and technically sound in the area of cell biology, biochemistry and molecular biology. Broad research experience in cell-based assay development like cell cycle analysis, cell survival/ proliferation, FRET, FLIM, immunocytochemistry, epifluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy and/or high-content imaging will be preferred. Knowledge of image analysis and ability to develop scripts using MatLab or Python would be desirable. Self-motivated candidates will be expected to manage junior scientists with the capability to design, develop and troubleshoot experiments. Excellent communication and presentation skills required. Must be detail oriented, well organized with ability to analyze and communicate data effectively. Excellent teamwork required and to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment meeting timelines. Good understanding of cell signaling pathways, disease biology having therapeutic implicationswould be required.
Associate Research Scientist / Research Scientist: Cell Molecular Biologist/Assay Development
Knowledge, Experience And Skills
Master's degree in the discipline of life sciences with minimum 2 to multiple years of academic or industrial work experience in the area of translational research or other relevant fields. Substantial research experience in cell-based assay development like cell cycle analysis, cell survival/proliferation, FRET, immunocytochemistry, epifluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy and/or high-content imaging will be preferred. Knowledge of basic biochemistry (immunoprecipitations, Western blotting etc.) and molecular biology techniques (transformation cloning, stable cell line generation etc.) will be required. Must be detail oriented, well organized with ability to analyze and communicate data effectively. Excellent teamwork required and to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment meeting timelines
