Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) invites application for the position Security Officer

Eligibility: Retired personnel with maximum age 62 years on the last date of submission of applications, having minimum 15 years work experience and retired from at least at the level JCO/equivalent in any one of the Central Organizations such as:
Intelligence Bureau, Central Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPRD), National Crime Records Bureau, National Investigation Agency, Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad, North Eastern Police Academy, Shillong and National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NICFS), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Security Guard (NSG), Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB), Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university.
Salary: A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. There will be no annual increment/percentage during the contract period
Terms of Appointment: The appointment is initially for 11 (eleven) months only. However, depending on the performance, it may be extended upto 3 years or upto the age of 65 years of the incumbent, whichever earlier.
