Educational Qualification and Experience: PhD in Molecular biology/ Biotechnology/ Bioengineering/ Biochemistry/Animal sciences (or) M.Pharm (or) M.Sc pursuing ,Ph.D. in the specified subjects. Candidate should have three years research experience with at least three research paper in SCI journals. Desirable: Candidate having research experience on animal experimentation/ cell culture techniques/ molecular biology tools are essential.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36,000
Age limit : 32 years
Senior Research Fellow /4 Posts
Educational Qualification and Experience: Candidates with M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm degree (with minimum of 55% marks) or equivalent in Natural product chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular biology/Zoology/Botany/Ayurveda are eligible to apply. Candidate having research experience on animal experimentation/ cell culture techniques/ molecular biology tools are essential.
Pay Scale : 28,000 + 20 % HRA per month (Candidates with NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification) or Degree in professional courses M.Pharm/ M.Tech with two years of research experience. Rs. 14,000/- + 20 % HRA per month (Candidates without NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification)

Account Assistant/ 1Post
Educational Qualification and Experience: B.Com with experience in accountancy.
Pay Scale : Rs. 10,000 for 1st & 2nd year. Rs. 12,000 for 3rd year. No additional allowances such as HRA etc. will be provided.

Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) is a premier scientific research organization in the north-east region, conceived and nurtured by the Assam Science Society in its initial years and was inaugurated by Nobel Laureate Dorothy C. Hodgkin on 3rd November 1979. Subsequently, it was supported by the state govt. as its only autonomous R&D institute till March 2009. The institute was taken over in March, 2009 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India as one of its autonomous R&D institute.
