Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the appointment of the following position.
1. Name of position: Junior Research Fellow (01 positions)
2. Project: “Understanding the genetic basis of hearing loss using zebrafish model” (Funded by SERB)
3. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
4. Eligibility & Selection:
a. Candidates having M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or related subjects (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry /Genetics/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics) with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point (relaxation will be as per Govt. guideline) are eligible to apply.
b. Candidates should have qualified national level exams such as NET/LS-NET/GATE/GPAT/BET.
c. Candidates with knowledge and experience in genetics or bioinformatics or cell culture or molecular biology techniques will be given preference.
