Research Associate /Laboratory Technician recruitment in Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar
Name of Project: “Studies on interactions of plant transcription factors in promoters from plant infecting pararetroviruses”.
Research Associate/01 Post
Eligibility and Selection: Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. degree in biological sciences or allied subjects. A decent publication record is also expected. The project involves recombinant protein expression, studies on DNA- protein interactions, as well as plant tissue culture. The ideal candidate will have a good background and work experience in one or more of the above areas.
Desirable qualification: Preference will be given to those having work experience with complex biochemical entities.
Fellowship: Rs. 36,000
Laboratory Technician /01 Post
Name of Project “Studies in in vitro interaction between Arabidopsis Transcription factors TGA and WRKY leading to Salicylic acid mediated gene activation in Cestrum yellow leaf curling virus (CmYLCV) promoters (Tata Innovation grant)”.
Eligibility and Selection: Candidates having B.Sc. in Biotechnology/Botany/Microbiology/Physiology/Life Sciences and working experience in research labs are preferred .
Fellowship: Rs. 12,000 per month (consolidated) without HRA
