Project A; “Role of Mitochondrial dynamics in Dengue virus life cycle and disease pathogenesis” Principal Investigator: Gulam Hussain Syed, PhD, Scientist D, ILS Bhubaneswar Project B; “Understanding the role of IRGM-mediated innate immune response in diseases ”

Post-doctoral Fellow (PDF)/ 02 Nos.

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree (or should have submitted his/her Ph.D. thesis) in biological sciences. Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology and cell biology techniques is highly desirable. Candidates having experience in handling mice and first author publication in peer-reviewed journal in above subject areas will be given preference. Candidates preferring to work in ‘Project A’ are desired to have previous work experience in molecular virology.

Emoluments: Rs. 36,000 per month + 20% HRA (as per DBT norms and commensurate with years of experience).

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/02 Nos.

Eligibility: Candidates holding Master’s degree with 60% aggregate or more with NET or equivalent qualification in the subjects of Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry and allied sciences are eligible to apply. JRF’s in projects will not be directly allowed to register for Ph.D. However they can compete for selection in ILS Ph.D. programme after fulfilling all necessary requirements.

Emoluments: Rs. 25,000 per month+ 20% HRA (as per DBT norms)
